Our Executive Vice President is doing a phenomenal job running this institution. We should thank Krishna Misir and the executives for this.
We have improved the conveniences at the Temple with new carpets and a new Temple Kitchen. Also on the walls of the Temple we have the life story of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna depicted. Our devotees are now ejoying the large Video Screen where they can follow the prayers and the Bhajans.
The Dining area has got an industrial dish washer and as trying to go green we are using Thalis and Plates. The stage has beautiful curtains and stgelights so we can have plays and also perform marriage ceremonies which can be seen on Video Screens. We have received good reviews about our Telecast and our Website should be looked at. It has interesting topics and is seen world wide.
The montessori school continues to improve and we have expanded to accomodate 46 children. Our teachers are doing a fabulous job with the children and most parents are satisfied with the progress of the children.
The canadian Museum of hindu civilisation is a one of a kind Museum where lots of visitors come to understand our Culture and the Peace Wall stands as a monument of World Peace. Our Sangeet Academy continues to teach students but it is my hope that one day we will teach children whose parents support the Temple free of charge. The children of the Academy presented the beautiful play of Shakutala and it was well appreciated. Our next project is the building of our Seniors Home which will start in the New Year under the Chairmanship of Mr Steve Gupta. This facility will have 25 units. We will need all your support for this mammoth project and hope we can give our Seniors a nice place for their winter years. We are hoping to have our own bus to transport our seniors to various places during the summer I thank all of you for your support and generosity and in these economic downturns I hope all of us can keep smiling eat well and dont forget you must exercise to keep your body fit and healthy. May the Divine Mother bless all with compassion and always try to lend a hand to the less fortunate for SERVICE IS PRAYER.
